Security
DataVault’s Network Operations Center (NOC) is located underground in a restricted access, camera monitored, climate controlled facility. It's constantly monitored 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. A Caterpiller 125Kva generator keeps the network alive in the event of any extended power outages, while a 12 foot fence with rolled razor wire prevents unwanted intruders from entering the building. Our routers are polled every 3 minutes to ensure continuous uptime and provide immediate detection of any outage or congestion problem. Our 99% uptime guarantee is due to the quality of our network design.

DataVault’s Network Operations Center (NOC) Admin staff has over 15 years of networking expertise. We've been hosting high performance web sites since 1996.

Performance
DataVault’s NT and UNIX servers are based on the Dell PIII PowerEdge servers configured with 512 megs of ECC SDRAM, 18 gig f/w hard drives - a huge performance improvement over the industry standard.

Multiple circuits include three backbone connected DS3's from three different major backbone providers (GTE, SPRINT, NapNet). Cisco Routers and Bay Networks switches ensure traffic is moved along trouble free.
